A Birthday Bash

We had a birthday get together for my dad's 60th birthday. It was so much fun to see family we hadn't seen in a while and just catch up on what's been going on. All of dad's grandkids were there for a grand total of 10. I got a picture with grandpa and all of the kids that were there except for Mya. She was M.I.A.

My dad is such a great example to me. I have a hard time believing his is actually 60 because he is so young at heart and nothing slows him down. I love his attitude toward life and how he tackles everything with such dedication. He is the best man I know and I love him so much!!! You're the best dad a girl could ask for. Thanks Dad!!

Brook absolutely adores her grandpas. She gets so excited when she gets to see them. Grandpa & Grandma Smith came to have dinner with us one night and watch the Jazz game. While I was finishing up dinner, Brook told grandpa he needed to come play in her room. This is what I found...

Brook informed me that I don't need to take her to school. She is going to ride her horse to get there. I love her imagination and the things she has been coming up with lately.
