Bounce, bounce, bounce...

Bouncin' Brooklyn

Since Brooklyn is 3 months old now and holds herself up better than I could have imagined for her age, we decided to let her try out the jumper. Much to my surprise she really enjoyed it. She figured out how it works and even got a hold of Piper's ear and had Piper give her a little ride. She enjoyed that too. I'm afraid I might have a little daredevil on my hands...

Momma's Girl

So Big...

Brooklyn has decided to grow up on us way too fast. She has started to hold her head up without wobbling and is even trying to sit up on her own. How crazy?! She also has found out that she has hands and loves to suck on them. Brooklyn also has learned how to play with her toys and can keep herself somewhat entertained for a little bit at a time before needing mom.

Christmas

Christmas this year was at my parents house and it was so fun to have everyone together again. All 8 of the cousins were there and had a blast playing with each other. This year we decided to start our own little family tradition of matching pj's on Christmas Eve. (Although, my family did this while I was growing up, we decided to copy. Ha ha...) It's so exciting to be a parent at Christmas time. I am so grateful for Brooklyn and we had so much fun getting her gifts for her first Christmas, and of course Santa came and Brook made out like a bandit with all of her loot.

Sweet Dreams...

Brooklyn is such a good baby I have absolutely no complaints. I love watching her sleep. She smiles and coos and is just so darn cute sometimes I wanna wake her up just so I can love her some more.

Cousin's 1st Birthday

What a zoo!! We went to Ryan and Sara's for Bodee and Hallie's first birthday party. Bodee was loving all of the people and was there to entertain, and that he did. He dug into the cake while Hallie picked at it so daintily. Both of them are so adorable and I can't believe that they are 1 already. They grow up so fast.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was kind of rough for us this year. We had plans to go to Cole's parents house but he came down with the stomach flu, so we ended up staying at my folks house. Meg also had the stomach flu and then I got it the next day. Talk about sick at the holidays. Anyways, we still had a great meal thanks to my wonderful mother, who is an excellent cook, and enjoyed the day relaxing at home.
