Play Date

With the weather finally being nice out we had our first summer play date at the city park. Brooklyn played so hard on the slide and she loved the swings. I am really looking forward to getting her out to play more often. She slept so well that night, and that is something I could get used to.

Brook loved the sand and she made sure to take plenty of it home with us.

Sydnee & Chase

Hello...

Brook is really into phones right now. She has been playing with one of Cole's old phones and carries on conversations all by herself. The other day I was watching her walk around, waving her hand and she says,"Okay, uh huh, bye bye." I had to laugh cause that is how my mom always ends a conversation on the phone. So, I asked Brook who she was talking to. Without missing a beat, she replied,"Ry-Ry"(Uncle Ryan). The next time she was talking on the phone I asked who she was talking to and she shook her little finger at me and told me "Mee-Mee" (Aunt Megan). She really keeps things interesting and is always making me laugh.

Happy Birthday

The 17th was my dad's birthday and I was so glad that everyone was able to come home and celebrate. Dad loved having all of the grand kids there and said that was the best present he could of asked for to have his whole family there with him. Dad has always been such a great example to me and I love and appreciate everything he does for me. Thanks for being such a great dad!! Looking forward to many more birthday celebrations with you dad!

Brook played outside with her cousins all day and stopped long enough to say cheese.

Spring Time

Brooklyn and I tagged along with dad to get some calves for he and Court's Cow project. We went to Jim Hubbard's and Brooklyn was loving every second of it. She went back and forth between the calves and the dog. She was squealing and talking up a storm. She is definitely our little animal lover. She loves to go see the "baby cows", as she calls them, and runs for her jacket if she sees grandpa heading for the back door. Brook loves to be in on all of the action.

As soon as we got out of the truck, the kids took off running towards the calves. They were loving every second of it.

Sydnee liked the calves sucking her fingers.

Easter

Brook really enjoyed Easter this year. Bodee, Carter, Brynlee, and Hallie were all here to celebrate with us and have an egg hunt. Brook was so funny. She would pick up the eggs but didn't want to put them in her basket. She finally got how the egg hunt worked and had a lot of fun. Bodee was really cute too! Every time he got two eggs he gave one to Brook. Such a good sharing boy!! Later that day, Court, Andrea, and the kids came over for Easter dinner and to celebrate Court's birthday. The weekend was really great and conference was amazing. I am so grateful for our prophet and for all of the speakers. The church is truly an amazing organization and I am grateful to be a member of it.

Brook was really excited to get "canny".

Birdies Nest

For Easter my mom got the grandkids that were able to come together and made the cutest little cupcakes. They made little birds nests and had so much fun. Brook didn't really care too much for it, but she loved the end result.

Coloring Easter Eggs

Brook had such a good time coloring eggs this year. She was so funny to watch when the eggs would come out a different color. She got so excited she actually cracked one of the eggs on the table while she was waving her hands.

The Famous Soda Springs Geyser

A few weeks ago, we loaded up the kids and went to Soda to see the geyser. The kids had so much fun. We got there right as the geyser was finishing so we had so hang out for an hour before it would go off again. We took a little walk around the cemetery that was nearby, and took a little nature walk. When the geyser went off, Brook loved the "watty". She had so much fun. Thanks to all of her cousins who were there. We loved it!
