9-10-11

This is definately a day I will never forget. On September 9th, Cole and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. I can't believe how fast those five years have gone. On September 10th, Cole and I were sealed for time and all eternity to our girls, Brooklyn and Jenna. I can't think of a better way to celebrate our anniversay. It was the most amazing experience and I kept catching myself thinking I wish I could have gone through the temple sooner. But, now I know that I need to keep worthy to continue going and recieving the blessings of the temple. I have never experienced such joy as when my little girls joined us in their white dresses. There is so much to learn and our first experience, although overwhelming, was so incredible. My heart is so full and I am so blessed to have a husband that will teach our children about the gospel.

Great-Grandparents

Cole's grandparents John and Betty came to see us and spend the day at the park. They bought Brook the most precious book that has them recorded reading it. It is definately a keepsake. Brook has a special bond with her great-grandpa John. They were born on the same day and are birthday buddies. We enjoyed the day with GG Betty and GG John, and Grandpa Dan and Grandma Casey. Brook played at the park, we had a picnic and just relaxed and visited. I hope that we get to see them again very soon.

Sunday Best

I had to get picture of Jenna in this cute little dress that Natalie passed down to her. She looks so cute in it and I'm sad she's already almost out of it.

Snuggle Bugs

Afew weeks ago while doing bedding I laid Jenna on the bed for a nap. When I went in to check on her this is what I found. Brook said Jenna was her snuggle bug. She loves her little sister so much. I love catching little moments like this with the camera.

Meg's Wedding

On August 13th, Megan married a great guy, Kyle. Brook absolutely adores him and loves playing with him. Brook loved Megan's wedding dress and kept saying she looked like a princess. It was such a beautiful day and turned out perfectly. I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked. But here are some pictures from the big event.

Fair Time

Brook loved the fair this year. She got to spend the week playing with cousins, seeing the rodeo, being in the Little Buckaroo Rodeo, seeing the parade, and being in Lead Line. She loves riding horses and being a cowgirl. Brook borrowed Uncle Ryan's horse "Annie" again this year and Grandpa Kevin lead her in the arena.

Oh Baby, Baby!

My cousin Scott and his wife Deanna recently had a baby girl, Nicole, not long after Jenna was born. They came up to my folks to visit during the fair and it was so fun to see the little girls together and to catch up on everything with Scott and Deanna. Hopefully we can keep in touch so the girls will know each other and be lifelong friends.

Little Buckaroo Rodeo

Brook was able to participate in the Little Buckaroo Rodeo this year. She was part of the Goat Ribbon Chase and needless to say she was pretty disappointed that she didn't get to ride the goat. Brook is such a brave little girl and not much scares her, and that scares me to death. Cole wasn't able to be there because of his work schedule so Grandpa Kevin was great to stand in for him.

Jenna's Blessing

Cole was able to come home for the weekend of July 30th to bless Jenna. We were trying to get it done before we go through the temple to be sealed, which we are doing on the 10th of September. Yay!! We were so grateful to have most of our family there to support us and enjoy some family time together in honor of Jenna.

Cookie

Grandpa Kevin got the cutest little mini pony this year. She is such a sweetheart and the kids absolutely love her. Brook can love on her and lead her around. Cookie is just like an overgrown puppy. Brook keeps telling everyone that Cookie is her horse, and I think all the grandkids think that Cookie is their very own.

Visitors

We had so many people come to visit us after Jenna joined our little family. We have been so grateful for all of the help and support everyone has given us. I wish I had pictures of everyone who came, but I kept forgetting to grab my camera.
